THANK YOU
We are so grateful
to all our supporters without whom we couldn't have
built the school in Zambia. The children that go through
the school will be your legacy.
We are thrilled and delighted
to announce that the Fox family have offered to provide
the sum of £250 a year for at least the next ten
years to pay for the salary of a teacher to work in
the village in Zambia. It really is a most generous
offer and one for which we are very grateful.
Acknowledging our efforts as “such a worthwhile
cause and as our own children have been so fortunate
in terms of their education” the parents of one
of our pupils, Mr. & Mrs Habbershaw of www.actiondry.co.uk
have also been in touch. They have donated a years salary
for a teacher. Many thanks.
A member of staff, who wishes to remain anonymous,
has offered to sponsor a second teacher.
A wonderful gesture and greatly appreciated by all.
Our thanks to the Leicester
Tigers (Rugby Squad) for providing us with two tickets
for a match against the ‘Barbarians’ in
2006.
Annina Whipp’s father was sponsored to the
tune of £350 for running the marathon. A very
special thank you to him.
We would like to acknowledge Pizza Express (Upminster)
for their support.
Hewitt,
Bacon and Woodrow were also keen to support
our project. Their cheque for £200 was very much
appreciated.
We are very grateful to Colin Steel (Chairman of
the Parents Association) who kindly allowed all the
money that the ‘expedition students’ raised
on the school sponsored walk to go to Africa. This raised
£435.
Our thanks also to Adrian Mahon for his gift
of complimentary tickets to Madame Tussauds, Thorpe
Park and the London Eye.
We must thank Paul and Frances Cosway of Cosway
Villas in Javea, Spain who very kindly donated £140.
Whilst wishing us “good luck with the
fundraising and best wishes for the trip” Jon
Roase generously gave £200. Thank you.
Mrs Sharon Malone made a personal contribution
to the expedition fund. We are very grateful for her
support.
The expedition team would like to thank Everton
Football Club who donated a signed first team photo.
We would like to express our warmest appreciation
to Nishi Dhatta for the £161 raised at a Charity
Lunch she held in school cooking for the staff.
